ROOMS AND SUITESRESEARCH AND INSPIRATION
Peppered with nods to the East and the history of Salento, the Palazzo Maritati e Muci composes a symphony of light and stone.
This is not a hotel but a new concept of hospitality where Chef Guy Martin opens the doors of his Palazzo Maritati and Muci and shares its private pieces collection featuring a variety of forms.
Inspired by the idea of “lightness” (leggerezza), architects and local craftsmen have maintained the original historical features with a set of dramatic canvas as a natural stage of art pieces.
Palazzo Maritati e Muci features a number of unique “OEUVRES” by French and Italian contemporary art designers as well as private pieces of Guy Martin’s favorites such as books of any sort and vinyls.
Spaces still recall another time and place. Inspired by notable Salento noble properties, guests immerse into a world bedecked in kaleidoscopic natural light cutouts. No two guest rooms are alike.
Reshaped by local artisans and architects, with an exquisite touch of French interior déco taste, Palazzo Maritati e Muci have been turned into luxury guests houses with Guy Martin as the visionary behind them.
And it’s going to make you long for a holiday at Palazzo Maritati e Muci. Pantone Salento is a warm palette inspired peach, pink, yellow and light blue tones evoking vitality and vibrant life perspective. There’s just something about the colors that feels welcoming and intimate. You look at each piece of stone almost figuratively with its own vibrato.
“YOU FEEL LIKE IT’S MAGIC TO STAY HERE. EVERY DAY.”
